The role of the Advanced Care Team at Salisbury Pediatric Associates is to help patients and their families by providing necessary care for all patients within our practice. Dr. Hudson and Ashley take time with our patients and look at what eating habits they are practicing and what they are doing to stay active. They then decide if diagnositc testing would be beneficial for the patient.
A nutritionist, Nicole, also sits with the patient and their family to discuss changes that could help in reaching or maintaining a healthy lifestyle. There are also medical reasons that could cause the lack of growth or weight gain. In these cases Dr. Hudson and Ashley will take the same approach while making sure that the patient and their family are being educated about the healthy choices and lifestyle changes. During the time that the patient is attending our nutrition clinic classes here at Salisbury Pediatrics our providers are monitoring the changes that the patient is making and how that is reflecting in their outcomes. This program is open to all of our patients and an office referral is not needed and we offer classes two times every month! Please let us know if you would like to schedule a nutrition class to talk about a healthy change!
