Have your kids cook with you often. Here is a great breakfast recipe.
Breakfast Tacos
Ingredients: all organic if possible
Hard organic corn taco shells
Chicken or Duck(my favorite) eggs
Chorizo sausage - I get mine from Lee at Wild Turkey Farms
Shredded lettuce
Sliced grape or cherry tomatoes
Shredded Pecorino Romano cheese
Avocado - cubed in 0.5 cm sizes
Salsa of choice
Directions:
Have your kids prepare the vegetables in the fashion as above. Cook the sausage and drain fat. Scramble enough eggs for the volume of eaters. Bake the shells at 275 F for a few minutes for warmth. Combine the ingredients in this order:
1) shell
2) sausage
3) egg
4) cheese
5) lettuce
6) avocado
7) tomato
8) salsa
